Travis Scott is back at the top, with his latest track “4X4” debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release on January 24. This achievement represents a significant milestone, marking his fifth chart-topping hit and further enhancing his impressive legacy in the music industry.

4X4 follows in the footsteps of major hits like Franchise with Young Thug and M.I.A. (2020), The Scotts with Kid Cudi (2020), Highest in the Room (2019), and Sicko Mode, which first debuted at No. 4 before climbing to No. 1 in December 2018. However, this time, Scott took things to an entirely new level. The track made its live debut during the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show on January 20, where Scott performed atop Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, setting the stage for its chart-topping rise.

But that’s not the only headline Scott has been making. Last summer, during a live concert in Milan on July 23, 2024, fans experienced a moment of panic when they felt what seemed like an earthquake mid-performance. However, the tremors were caused by the intensity of the show, not seismic activity. Although the experience was unsettling, it highlighted just how electrifying and powerful Scott’s live shows can be, leaving fans in awe of his presence on stage.

In addition to his chart-topping success, 4X4 is making a positive impact as well. Proceeds from the track’s CD single and merchandise will be donated to Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund, which supports communities affected by the devastating fires in L.A.

And there’s even more to celebrate on the charts this week. Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) continues to dominate, holding strong at No. 5 following an incredible 19-week run at No. 1. The song has rewritten the history books, tying The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights for the longest reign on the Radio Songs chart with 27 weeks at the top.

With 4X4’s powerful debut and unforgettable performances like the one in Milan, Travis Scott shows no signs of slowing down. The rapper continues to capture global attention, proving that his influence extends far beyond the music, from the charts to live events, and beyond. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
